Oh to be in Fargo in two weeks...
If you're in Fargo, ND October 28th, by all means head over to Evergreen Conference Center and see The High 48s Bluegrass Band. I know I would if I could. If you follow that link to their Myspace page, there are some sample tracks there that will tell you why you should better than anything I could write here.
I have their album and love it.

I followed the link and listened down into "Leavin' Me". RESPECT!!
Maybe this is the kind of country music I should have first heard? Because I'll tell you, last night waiting for "The Prestige" they had the nerve to play ... oh who was that... I forget. But he's been the business for 40 years and just put out a new CD. Conway Twit--no. Charlie Somebody? OH! George Strait. George- Frickin'-Strait. I pert near missed that movie for liquification of my brains.
